Trucking Services
A J Construction's stand-alone semi truck fleet includes two dump trucks and two water trucks. Our fleet also includes five tractors set up for a variety of trailer hauling applications. On the earth-moving side of things, we have end dump and belly dump trailers. For moving equipment and production materials we have a variety of low boy, drop deck, and flatbed trailers. We are equipped for oversized heavy haul operations around the 4-Corners and Central Rocky Mountains.
Dirt and Rock Hualing
From single loads of gravel and topsoil, to bulk transport of boulders and fill dirt, A J Contruction's trucking fleet is equipped to transport earthwork materials across La Plata County, north, into Silverton.

Every request is unique. Given the remote locations of worksites in the San Juans compared to gravel pits, we try to strategize our trucking application to best cater to the client and reduce costs where we can. Our belly dump and end-dump trailers with larger capacities are often used to stockpile materials closer to job sites, saving money on trucking with dump trucks.
Equipment and Material Hauling
Using Durango as our hub, A J Construction regularly contracts out hauling services in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
Our fleet of lowboy trailers diversifies our resources, catering to specific equipment or location needs.

Our tilt-deck Landoll and step deck trailers are equipped to efficiently move 2-3 medium sized pieces of equipment at once.
Our 53' Drop Deck is ideal for bulk transport of materials such as concrete blocks, barriers, manholes, pipe, and large industrial parts.
